PetroSIZE for Petro-SIM 1.1

PetroSIZE for Petro-SIM by KBC is an equipment sizing and rating add-on that extends the Petro-SIM process simulator from flowsheet modeling into preliminary mechanical design. Embedded directly in the Petro-SIM environment, it converts validated simulation cases into practical equipment specifications—sizing columns and their internals, heat exchangers and air coolers, pumps and compressors, control and relief valves, lines, and vessels. Engineers can run hydraulic and pressure-drop checks, assess flooding and turndown, estimate duties and areas, identify bottlenecks, and generate consistent, traceable datasheets and reports. By keeping sizing models synchronized with changing operating conditions and scenarios, PetroSIZE accelerates FEED, revamp studies, and debottlenecking while improving design consistency and decision confidence.
